The state program “Digital Kazakhstan”

On December 12, 2017, the State Program “Digital Kazakhstan” was approved by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 827, aimed at technological modernization of the country’s economy through the phased introduction of digital technologies.

In pursuance of this Resolution, JSC NC KazMunayGas (hereinafter – NC KMG) set the task of developing a portfolio of the Production Digitalization Program.

Digitalization of production is a necessary condition for the development of the oil and gas sector of the economy of Kazakhstan and contributes to the creation of an integrated enterprise management system by ensuring the transfer of information flows in digital form, storage and visualization in a single space, as well as operational analysis and decision-making.

Within the framework of this project, the main goal of KMG Engineering LLP is to promote the improvement of production management processes, increase the level of transparency, quality and efficiency of these groups of companies of NC KMG.

The main directions within the framework of digitalization of production are:

Description of business processes of NC KMG groups of companies and development of IT architecture for understanding the general idea of the company’s activities, reengineering of corporate and industrial business processes through their digitalization and automation;
Conceptual design and development of solutions, as well as assessment of equipment with measuring instruments and production automation systems at the fields of the NC KMG group of companies in order to ensure complete and correct initial data for transmission to the upper level;
Initiatives for the introduction of new techniques and technologies in the field of production automation;
Methodological support;
Analytical work on evaluating the effectiveness of implemented measuring instruments and automation systems.
