A portfolio of promising projects

According to the strategy of JSC NC KazMunayGas for the implementation of the program for increasing the resource base of the UV, the Geology Unit of KMG is working to identify the most promising areas for further study, as well as potentially promising objects of structural and non-structural types in the Caspian, Mangyshlak, Ustyurt-Bozashinsky, Yuzhno-Torgai OB on the basis of a full range of historical and modern (3D seismic exploration) geological and geophysical data. Based on the results of a comprehensive analysis of geological and geophysical data, portfolios of promising projects for subsurface use are prepared with geological justification, assessment of resource potential, risks and uncertainties. Additionally, a minimum work program is compiled with relative capital investments.
