Today the traditional Astana IT University Job Fair was held in the capital, where there were the representatives of KMGE – Ilya Vasilyev, Head of the Development Center of IT and Daniyar Nurseitov, a Disciplinary Expert of the BigDATA Sector.
Our colleagues informed the visitors about the Company’s activities, including groundbreaking digitalization projects implemented by the KMGE team of BigDATA sector experts.
The ABAI system (Advanced Base of Artificial Intelligence), in which all production information data for KazMunayGas Corporate Center is currently concentrated on a single digital platform, attracted the attention of exhibition attendees. The presentation’s main topic of discussion was artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies in the Oil & Gas industry.
Our colleagues, as well, used the great opportunity today to speak to the graduates in an informal setting – as potential candidates for inclusion in the KMGE talent pool.
KMG Engineering representatives received a Letter of Gratitude from the University Administration for their active participation in the event, expressing the value of partnership and the Company’s contribution to the training of qualified IT personnel: We would like to remind you that KMG Engineering and Astana IT University collaborate under the terms of a Memorandum of Cooperation signed last year, which calls for joint participation in the training of highly specialized IT personnel.
As previously stated, the Project implementation provides for the selection of the best students who, as a result of a special training program, educational and industrial practice, as well as diploma defense, will be employed by KMG Engineering and will contribute to the development of information technologies in the Oil & Gas industry.
