Applications for PT (pilot testing), new machinery, technology, materials and equipment are accepted on a one-stop-shop basis in a digital format at https://opicenter.kmge.kz/ It will consolidate materials on proposed technological solutions, accelerate the process of implementing innovative products at the exploration & production of KazMunayGas NC JSC, and store information in a single database.
The official web resource launched on January 13 of this year is designed primarily to receive, process and monitor requests from potential suppliers to conduct pilot testing of new machinery and technologies, materials and equipment, as well as to organize, support and conduct pilot testing in the exploration & production of KazMunayGas NC JSC.
The developers of the Internet portal represented by KMG Engineering experts note that the new platform’s operating principle and functionality will be an effective channel of communication between all stakeholders in the process, and that it is designed similarly to the existing Internet platforms of several RK government agencies used to provide a wide range of services to users/applicants.
“The developed algorithm of the Internet portal system will now provide a one-stop procedure for receiving and processing requests from both local and foreign suppliers to conduct pilot testing. The technological and economic impact of the pilot testing will allow calculations and statistics to be made to improve KMG subsoil users’ oil and gas production and other production processes. It will be possible to implement proven and innovative technologies in the field of oil and gas production by using the resources of the Internet portal,” says Aidos Aitpembetov, Lead Engineer of the Process Analytical Research Service of KMGE Engineering Support Department.
The system’s accessibility provides the most objective process of control, accounting, and monitoring of ongoing PT, as well as control over the process of accepting and supporting PT applications from the start of customer registration in the system to making a final decision on the feasibility of proposed innovative products in KMG subsidiaries and affiliates.
In addition, the current system algorithm enables the applicant, executors of KMGE and KMG subsidiaries and affiliates, and others to monitor every completed stage of PT application processing online. All activities are carried out solely digitally with KMGE branches, subsidiaries and affiliates, and collegiate bodies represented by TPP experts, STC of subsidiaries and affiliates, and STC of KMG.
So, KMG Engineering is actively involved in the implementation of the KMG Corporate Business Transformation Strategy and contributes significantly to optimizing and coordinating the interaction business processes between KMG and its subsidiaries and affiliates.
