Dana Akhatkyzy: No obstacles will stop if you have a goal

In February, as part of the KMG Loyalty Corporate Program, gift certificates were awarded to female employees of KMGE, who were awarded free grants from various institutions for Master’s and PhD Educational Programs. Five female employees of KMG Engineering’s Atyrau branch were one of them. We interviewed some of them.

      Dana AKHATKYZY (on the right in the photo), Geological Modeling Service Engineer in the Geology Department, has been working at the Atyrau branch of KMG Engineering LLP since August 2021, after successfully finishing her undergraduate degree and KMGE School Program. Dana is actively involved in the social life of our institute, and was recently elected deputy of the Council of Young Specialists for cultural events.

“Geology is an integral part of the Oil Industry. Geologists have one big goal – to do high-quality exploration work, calculations, to provide increase of reserves, to increase the resource base of previously discovered fields and, accordingly, to increase the oil potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since September 2021 I am a Master’s student at Satpayev University, majoring in Petroleum and Ore Geophysics.  My motivation for studying in Master’s Program was an opportunity to combine work and studies, and of course the support of my parents.  My parents are my mainstay and support group No. 1. I am sure that no obstacles will not stop, if there is a goal and you work hard on the way to it. To quote the words of R.W. Emerson, ‘The world opens doors for those who know where they are going’.

I wish all young professionals to grow personally and professionally. I sincerely wish the youth of Kazakhstan to develop science and benefit the country!”
