Implement the gained knowledge for the benefit of KMG Engineering development

In 2024, Oksana Belonozhkina, an expert at KMGE Hydraulic Fracturing Service, won the competition and received a quota for training in the additional advanced training program “Modern technologies in hydrogeology and engineering geology” at the Department of Hydrogeology named after. V.M. Shvets, at the Russian State University for Geological Prospecting named after Sergo Ordzhonikidze (MGRI).

Under the terms of the competition the training was at the organizer’s expense. As part of her advanced training, Oksana Belonozhkina became familiar with the main parameters responsible for the filtration and capacitive properties of rocks during the search and exploration of groundwater, their similarities and differences in the case of search and exploration of oil and gas fields. 

The training was conducted by the head of the Department of Hydrogeology named after V.M. Shvets, K.V. Belov and the lecturer of the department, the expert of the SRC RF, D.V. Egorov. 

During the training, topics were considered in the following areas:

search and exploration of groundwater;

water-reservoir properties of rocks; 

main types of groundwater surveys;

processing methods and interpretation of development works; 

existing methods for assessing groundwater reserves. 

assessment and calculation of groundwater reserves depending on the category of complexity of geological and hydrogeological conditions.
