The forum started in 2015; it was held in Astana for the first time since 2019.
The event once again became the largest meeting of drilling, completion and production specialists in Kazakhstan.
KDR, held in partnership with “KazMunayGas” JSC NC and KMG Engineering, welcomes national and international oil and gas operators, drilling, service and technology companies to its technology sessions. Trends are set, knowledge and technologies are exchanged, it is within its framework that new contacts are established and the current ones are maintained.
– KDR-2022, organized by TMG Global Intelligence in direct partnership with the National Company “KazMunayGas” and KMG Engineering, took place over one day and was divided into two technological halls. KMG and KMG Engineering specialists gathered together with drilling and well engineering experts from all key regional operators and service companies to discuss the latest regional developments, best practices, share knowledge and communicate in an informal setting after the technology sessions of the forum, – says Rustam Aldangorov, expert of the Corporate Governance Digitalization Service of KMGE.
As the speaker noted, the forum was an ideal return to the physical format, as it allowed the entire industry to come together again after the pandemic:
— The business program of the forum included technological sessions dedicated to selected technologies, services and regional developments The event is a combination of presentations and case studies, roundtables and Q&A sessions, and as with all TMG oil and gas events, all sessions were moderated by regional oil and gas operators, allowing discussions to stay focused on a clear goal to improve the efficiency of the well engineering and strengthen long-term working relationships, -the expert is sure.
