Partner Experience for Effective and Safe Work

From October 7 to 12, 2022 an internship of the “Professional Foreman” Modular Program participants took place at TATNEFT in Almetyevsk. This trip was organized as part of the final practical part of the training of Oil & Gas production and workover technicians of “Ozenmunaigas” JSC.

The Foremen received theoretical training in the Personnel Training Center on topics such as “Selection of surface drives for SPR,” “Repair and insulation works in wells,” “Operation, diagnostics, and restoration of SPR operability without well repairs,” “Integrated reservoir fluid studies and field development management,” and “Approaches to well workover organization”.

In addition, the participants visited a number of TATNEFT production facilities where underground and workover operations, as well as continuous operation of dual completion wells of SPR/SPR type and production of extra-viscous oil using the steam-gravity method, are carried out.

Note, the “Professional Foreman” Modular Program is a joint project of KMG Engineering LLP and “TATNEFT Personnel Training Center” Non-Governmental Educational Institution with the goal of practical mastering of the skills of efficient and safe work by foremen. In 2020-2022, 68 foremen for Oil & Gas production and well workover operations at Ozenmunaigas JSC, Mangistaumunaigas JSC and Oil Service Company LLP attended training as part of this program.
