The “in-person introduction” was organized by the Human Resources Management Service.
“This is just one of the first steps in our structural unit’s large-scale project aimed at the quick and successful integration of “newcomers” into the professional environment. Indeed, practice shows that even if an employee has relevant work experience, starting a new job can be stressful. The difficulty in communicating with colleagues and supervisors is often the main source of anxiety. As a result, such meetings will become an important part of the Company’s corporate culture, and we intend to hold them on a regular basis, once a month,” said Zhanna Jakupova, HR Service Head. |
Mr. B. Khassanov, General Director, expressed his support for the new members of the KMGE team during the meeting, emphasizing that the company’s priority today is personnel development, staff retention, and social policy. Many projects are being carried out to strengthen the work in this area.
Meanwhile, the HR Service reminded that projects within the framework of youth policy, such as “Zhas Orken” and “Digital Summer”, are actively pursued, work with talents is established, the package of social support is expanded, a “flexible” organizational structure is developed, and the concept of non-material motivation of employees is developed, which, in addition to traditional awards such as medals, badges, certificates of honor, and thank-you letters, also provides additional days off and training, and others.
In turn, the newcomers had an excellent opportunity to introduce themselves, share their career goals, and discuss how they intend to contribute to the company’s growth. KMG Engineering badges were given to all newcomers.
According to the meeting organizers, competent onboarding will be the foundation for the employee’s successful and long-term work, and human capital at KMGE will strengthen and preserve the most valuable. Employees who adapt in a specific direction will become more effective, gain confidence quickly, and seamlessly integrate into the new team.
